The Exmouth Bomb

I’m a little bit lost for words, so I’ll stream-of-consciousness this. Our local fishermen dredged a World War 2 bomb into Exmouth. The cops set up a 100m cordon. Then a 400m cordon. And now a 600m cordon on my doorstep. The shops directly across the road are out of bounds, is how close it is. I just wanted to say: life is weird. You have to roll with it, or you’re in trouble. Haha! See you…

50,000 entities and one boat

Hello! And happy new year! 🎉 I was devasted to hear about the passing of Adam the Woo. The Trackers posted a beautiful memorial . I like this boat. I just posted devlog 1 for Project Codename: Model of the New Star . I built an Entity Component System framework and content manager for my game engine. I think it's neat.

Big Projects

Hello! I finished a big project that made me feel good, and I'm going to start a new one that I think is pretty neat! Project codename: Mew × digiLab I finished the cross-stitch gift I made for my work's Secret Santa: My Secret Santa absolutely loves Mew, and I know we're both kinda proud of the startup we work at, so the idea formulated in my head almost immediately as soon as I picked his name.…

Blogging every day

I’m going to end my push to blog every day. I don’t regret it at all, but I don’t feel great about myself and I’d like to take up less space.

It’s done!

It’s done! The cross-stitch I thought I’d get done in a week and ended up sucking hours every day for—2 weeks? 3?—is done! I might post a photo after my Secret Santa has opened it. Or maybe I’ll die of shame and deny everything. I don’t regret it! But I’m hyped to have my personal time back. I’ve got big plans to starting rolling for 2026…

Only pathetic losers goad their audience into trending on the discovery feed

I’m real! I’m real!!!

Love

Here in Exmouth, the Salvation Army’s celebrating 140 years of bashing queers with bibles by spending money proselytising rather than food and shelter. Well spent.

No more hand-made Secret Santas

I’ve been working every spare moment these last two weeks on my work’s Secret Santa gift, and tomorrow’s the last full day I’ve got for it, and I don’t know if I’ll get it done. It’s been a ball ache. It’s been a chore. I’m never doing it again. But maybe they’ll like it!

Some Christmas trees around Exmouth

My fantastic Christmas hat

Check out this Christmas hat I ordered online! Spot anything wrong? I reckon I’ll keep it!
