Greetings from the heart of the inferno…
It was with immense sadness that we heard of the passing of David Lynch earlier this year. A visionary director who walked in the realms of delirium and transcendence, Lynch is hugely influential on us and our work on an aesthetic and philosophical level. We grew up watching Twin Peaks, Lost Highway, Eraserhead, Wild at Heart, Mulholland Drive, and the dreamlike surreality of his works felt like it contained a special kind of magic and understanding of the world.
In honour of David Lynch’s amazing body of work and their influence on us personally and artistically, we’re filming a series of clips inspired by the Lynchverse which will be turned into a feature length Director’s Cut.
The concept of Homage the Unravelling came to Eve X in a bath, and they’ve written the majority of the scenes, organised the casting, directing, filming and featuring in this wild orchestration.
There are those artists who not only create beautiful, powerful work imbued with layers of nuance, meaning, potential… but who do so with a deep sense of curiosity, exploration, reverence for the human experience that pushes the work beyond entertainment and into spiritual enquiry. What are we here for? What meaning man?
Lynch’s work is imbued with existential absurdity and horror, the cosmic roar of the universe counterpointed by the banal, the mundane… And an underlying, perverted eroticism. The shadows at our edges screaming of violence and sex…’
Eve X
Sai Jaiden Lillith is taking point on the production, post production, scoring, filming and featuring in these scenes.
“The first time I saw Eraserhead I was terrified, disturbed, and forever obsessed with David Lynch…. The combination of naivety and innocence, and extreme violation and degradation of Blue Velvet was deeply affecting and sexually formative - in a way that has only grown richer informed by nuance and ethical complexity the further I explore BDSM and the erotic.
Lost Highway was the epitome of surreal exposition, filled with dark romance, obsession, the unknowable nature of the world and the other. The music of David Lynch’s films has always been deeply enmeshed with the visual content, and as a musician it’s a beautiful challenge to rise to the occasion.
These are all aspects that drive the production of our studio’s content, and to be able to fully embrace them in this project that pays tribute to one of our key inspirations is just amazing. I can’t wait to realise these wild visions that have called to us.”

We’ve already filmed four scenes and released our first clip, Homage: KINDLING, starring Eve X.
The first in the Homage The Unravelling sequence, Kindling features Eve X, fire, leaves, twigs, branches and all the variations of wood related things that you could ever wish to see in a ritualistic ecosex experience.
An exploration of the concept of land as lover, with all the sensuality, connection and intimacy that come with it, and an opening ritual for this invocation of tribute to Lynch’s craft.

We’d love to get the funding to upgrade, expand and do justice to the Work inspired by Lynch, and you can help!
Our works are passion projects, labours of love and lust… As a fledgling commercial studio we do have income streams associated with our works, however it’s far from an amount that allows us to grow as a studio or replace / upgrade aging equipment.
The process of post production editing can take anywhere between 10 and 80 hours per clip, and the improvement to equipment can definitely ease that burden and streamline the process.
With a project of this size, an injection of funding would allow us to push the envelope further, and improve the quality of the final work. From camera upgrades to hiring other production staff, to set design, your contributions can help us to complete this wild fugue inspired project in the manner befitting the subject matter!
Of course, any equipment and upgrades will go on to improve all our future works, so your contribution here is a long term investment! There’s not much that will stop us on our journey of smut creation, but your contributions will go a long way towards improving the quality of our creations as well as the quality of our lives!

A connection to the other epic project consuming our time and souls at the moment - ASSFEST (9-18 May) is the sexuality education festival dreamed up by Eve X, and we’ll be screening as much of HOMAGE as we have ready during the Erotic Art Festival on Temple Night.
If you’re interested in learning techniques from a spectrum of erotic modalities ranging from BDSM to ecstatic dance and sacred sexuality - without the judgement and purity attitudes so often present in these spaces that touch on spirituality and sex - then we invite you to attend the weekend!
