Our biggest cover star to date just green-lit the cover (!!!!)
After countless DM’s, emails, and gallery contacts — we secured an artist for the artist section that we have been drooling over for years.
We have a high-profile fashion retrospective on a brand that does “horse girl” right plus an inside scoop on its hidden horse girl founder.
We are planning a launch party…
We are due to go to print in June. Which means we still need to do proof reading, fact checking and all of the print proofs. Anna & Mallory are crushing it — Anna is cranking on design while Mallory is weaving together the final pieces of copy. It’s crunch time to say the least and yes, I still need to write the editor’s letter.
This is my favorite part of the process because it’s when the magazine comes alive. When the hundreds of hours shepherding this thing into existence starts to pay off and the theme’s personality truly presents itself.
Volume Eight feels grown-up and self-assured. It carries the signature CAHG nostalgia, but with a fresh, modern take on the horse girl archetype. It feels like a true reflection of the brand and our readers. I can’t wait for it be in your hands!!!!!!
