Dear Book Friends,
Who knew I’d get this obsessed with eight Korean men?
Oh wait.
I write reverse harem.
Honestly, I probably should have seen this coming.
Last night I watched Stray Kids’ Governors Ball performance. I wasn’t there in person, unfortunately, but some very lovely people streamed it online for me. By which I mean me and several thousand of my closest friends on the internet. And it was amazing.
The music was great. The energy was incredible. Everyone looked like they were having the time of their lives. It was joyful and chaotic and fun—and honestly, it was exactly what I needed.
Sometimes life gets busy and stressful and weird, and then something comes along that reminds you to just enjoy things for a while.
I’ve been trying to hold onto that feeling lately.
The weather is finally starting to cooperate, summer is creeping in, and I’m spending a lot of time writing, plotting, reading, and generally getting into trouble with new story ideas.
In the meantime, I have a question: How are you kicking off your summer?
Vacation plans?
Gardening?
Reading something amazing?
Avoiding the outdoors entirely and embracing air conditioning?
Hit reply and let me know.
Happy reading,
Cali
p.s. I maintain that discovering K-pop as a reverse harem author was probably inevitable.
p.s.s. Reminder that many of my books are now in Kindle Unlimited and available to binge!
Her last hope of finding her sister is an irreverent demon — if she can control him…
Witch Merle MacKenna needs a provocatively charming demon — whom she must keep in check — about as much as she needs a hole in the head.
Rhun lost any care for others in the magical prison of the Shadows. So when Merle unleashes him to help her, his plan is simple: seduce the sexy witch, steal her powers so she can’t bind him again, and be on his merry way.
If you love sizzling hot enemies-to-lovers paranormal romance with a snarky hero, a stubborn heroine, and lots of hilarious banter, this book is for you!
