Industrial, OT, ICS/OT, CPS, security, cybersecurity, defense, resilience and critical infrastructure protection are old and new, huge and small, and welcoming and competitive at the same time.
After a year of navigating through the dynamics, changes in the market, changes outside the market, the rise, fall and sale of players in the space and so on, we have decided to let OT Security be the technology and tools market it is, and move Cabreza’s focus and strategy towards cybersecurity within Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP).
The reality is, there are many, great, defensive, control-technology solutions that “OT security” teams need and Cabreza’s value proposition is just at a different layer.
Cabreza is focused on the discipline, the best practice, the process within and for the teams and people charged not only with logging into a tool, but putting the intangibles in place to build a capability with and from that tool.
With that contrast, it does not make sense for us to push against a completely tool and services centered industry or wave a Resilience flag around, hollowing it out in the process.
Our journey lies within establishing a new kind of standardization, best practices and discipline with data-driven software and getting it into the hands of those who need it most. Bad guys shouldn’t be able to log in.
The fundamentals aren’t pew-pew, shiny or “cool” and we are very, very okay with that. The practitioners out there know this to be true and we’re here for them.
On Friday, 19-June-26 we launch the Platform with Lodestar and Horizon. On the heels of that launch, Helm, Station and Tenet will follow.
This is an incredibly new and exciting chapter for the Cabreza team and we cannot wait to make it happen.
