Die Republikaner „bereiten sich darauf vor, von Verlierer Trump abzuweichen“.

Lol no one is actually letting them move on. No one is letting them forget this one.

Not that it matters because again all the actual Republican politicians are still deep throating Trump as quickly as they can while rubber stamping everything he does.

And most of the people who voted for Trump still won’t take actual steps to fix their mistakes, including the ones who claim to have regret. They sure won’t vote Democratic so this is going to continue.

And then when Trump doesn’t get routed in the Midterms, and proceeds to consolidate even more power and shred the remaining vestiges of the Constitution, those same voters will still be whining about Trump being an authoritian and saying, „Well there’s nothing we could do. What did you want us to do? Show up and vote? That doesn’t do anything?“ But they all sure managed to show up and vote for Trump in 2024.

We’re a nation behaving like children who lit a match, and now refuse to even try turning on some water because it’s too cold and we don’t feel like doing it.

Only difference is Mom and Dad are not coming home to put the blaze out
