Spark. A Circle of Trust.

In Chinese astrology, the Year of the Fire Horse is a rare tide of fierce courage, restless momentum, and catalytic change; a time to ignite inner truth in service of a world we share.

What if we sent ourselves here?

I often look around this world and think, this can’t be right? This has to be some kind of a game. A test. A joke, even. But it’s not so funny.

People, morals, moral compass, values, the lack thereof…love…the lack thereof. And I don’t mean the romantic kind. Where is it? Where are they? In personal life, in business, in government, in all of it. I simply just don’t get it. Any of it. And fear? Way, way too much of it.

I often think I don’t belong here. Not in the I don’t want to be here kind of way (I do), but in a “why am I here?” kind of way.

Because no one has really had the answer to this question throughout the ages that it has been asked, I decided long ago to treat life - my life - like a masterclass in self study. Self-discovery.

Not in a narcissistic way, but in a study of myself and my own nature hoping that by understanding myself better, I would understand another and others. In both their shadows and in their light. Just as I do mine.

And while I can’t, at this moment, answer that age old question “Why am I here?” I can ask…and I do:

“What if I sent myself here” and start from there.

What if we sent ourselves here?

I often think that some future (in another lifetime…on another timeline) version of me (us) sent me (and you) back here to correct the mistakes we’re making now, that adversely affect some future version of reality…and earth herself.

And that we came back here to this pivotal moment in time, not just in this today moment, but in this very specific time period of some hundreds or even some thousands of years, to, at this moment, course correct. And to play a pivotal part.

Not necessarily course correct just for what we and our children will later see and have to endure in our lifetime, this lifetime, but for lifetimes after us…the future of humanity. Until that future comes where we can meet ourselves again in a world…this world…on an Earth, and with her people, that we did not destroy.

I think this often. And, as such, if this were the case, I often wonder, what would I have sent myself back here to be? To do? To remember?

Because while many speak of changing the world, most of these same many cannot even change themselves on the most basic level beyond a New Year’s resolution…and even that doesn’t last for long.

I will forever stand in the belief that change starts with the individual.

The horse does not hesitate. Movement comes from inside the form. And growth comes as internal propulsion, not instruction. - It’s about choosing agency. Some will see themselves here, others will not.
