*buzzing: IT’S CHARLI’S WORLD & WE JUST LIVE IN IT
Charli XCX has declared brat summer over several times, yet two years after the album it’s somehow still going strong. This February, she’s releasing The Moment, her movie directed with creative director Aidan Zamiri, about her rapid rise to fame. She plays herself (part fictional, part biographic) alongside Kylie Jenner, Alexander Skarsgård, and Rachel Sennott.
But the promo campaign? That’s where it gets good. Brat green OOH billboards, The Moment scarves, and the music video for Residue where countless Charli lookalikes rave in flashing lights, including Kylie smoking a cigarette. It’s the best of both worlds: Marty Supreme meets brat summer.
And her premiere looks? Absolutely insane. This is key movie promo for 2026.
*buzzing: NIKESKIMS AND LISA DO BALLET
Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of NikeSKIMS for several reasons. The only thing that gets me every single time is their campaigns. Yes, they have insane budgets funded by insane prices, but their talent selection is just unmatched. They hired Sergio Reis, the ultimate choreography director behind all the great music videos and campaigns recently, including Troye Sivan for GAP. They also brought in choreographer Malou Linders and obviously Lisa for the ballet campaign.
This is the third iteration of NikeSKIMS, and this time they’re dropping their first footwear collab: the NikeSKIMS Rift Satin. The campaign is exactly what you’d expect: stunning, beautifully choreographed, and worth the hype even if the brand itself leaves you cold.
*buzzing: NOTHING HIJACKS LYAS’ LA WATCHPARTIES
Throughout 2025, creator Lyas established free fashion week watch parties to democratize the industry, opening shows to anyone and building community around fashion. The most recent watch party at Pathe Palace in Paris showed Jonathan Anderson’s first Dior Couture show. Then tech startup NOTHING showed up.
They didn’t just sponsor it. They hijacked it. NOTHING gifted attendees T-shirts and 300 dollar headphones through silent dance-offs. Probably the simplest yet greatest product sampling ever made. No complicated activation needed, just pure product in the hands of the right people at the right moment.
That’s how you do it.
*buzzing: EL CONCHO’S NFL COLLAB
The concho, Bad Bunny’s mascot from DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, just became the new mascot of the NFL. Add in the fact that Benito himself will be playing the halftime show of next week’s season finale and this is a huge win for everyone, especially in the times of Trump America.
What’s almost incredible? He’s releasing his own official merch line for all team franchises. Every team gets a hoodie, t-shirt and a plushie featuring the concho, an endangered frog from Puerto Rico representing the country’s incredible biodiversity. Has any other artist done that before?
Only downside: they ship in March, so about 1.5 months too late for me to cheer the Patriots in Bad Bunny gear next week. :(
*buzzing: CECILIE BAHNSEN X ALPHA INDUSTRIES
Cecilie Bahnsen is one of my favorite designers and her designs are peak futuristic flowerpower, something I see a lot for us in 2026. Her designs for Asics were sick (I mean, the see-through zip-up sneaker?). But even sicker? Her collab with Alpha Industries.
She reimagined three of Alpha’s most iconic jackets and bombers. Two got flowery patches, but the clear icon is the laser cut MA-1 bomber. All three models were introduced in the wind tunnel with iconic shots. That’s the moooove!
*buzzing: MATTHIEU BLAZY’S WONDERLAND AT CHANEL
Not just Jonathan Anderson at Dior, but Matthieu Blazy also did his first haute couture show at Chanel in Paris. And he really brought a new vision to the brand. Alice in Wonderland, but make it pink/black and IRL and add some gigantic toadstools because why not.
Have you seen his take on a wedding dress? I’m dead. This is exactly the mix of future, quirky, and nature elements that we will see much more of this year & Blazy gets it.
*buzzing: SLAWN X MERTRA
Olaolu Slawn and Aussie fashion brand Mertra just announced their collab through a staged video of a robbery of the painting that makes the campaign’s key visual from a gallery, dubbing it “THE PRICE JUST WENT UP.” And the collab is insane.
After countless disappointing art-fashion collabs like Uniqlo x basically everyone, Mertra and Slawn is collab gold. I mean the jacket? The gloves? Count me in for the drop on Wednesday (Feb 4).
