Look, I get it. The age gap is pretty tough (21 years...). The fact that he knew her as a baby is icky, at best. And, the social politics of hooking up with your dad's buddy is something that Freud would jump up and down and clap over, as there's just sooo much to unpack. And yet...look at him. #NeedThat! I understand you, Monica.

Age gaps are definitely a, ahem, hot topic of conversation. But let's not act like we have not all considered just how high we'd be willing to set that upper limit age range on Hinge.

Personally, I'm dying to hear from those who have said, "You know what? Screw it!" and gone for it with the person they may have previously considered "too old" to pursue romantically.

So, if you've dated or had sex with someone much older than you, why did you decide to go for it, and what was it like?

Maybe you'd been in a rut dating people your age and never getting anywhere, so you decided to set your sights a bit higher...and older.

Perhaps you realized the benefits of being with someone older were endless. They're more experienced, (hopefully) emotionally mature, and they give you access to a whoooole bunch of senior discounts. Score!

Or, maybe age is just a number to you, and the act of sleeping with someone outside of your "normal" age range was nothing more than a random decision you made, but looking back, the experience changed you somehow.
