How does this lead us to Dennis Schröder? The roster is in flux. My unsubstantiated theory is that the organization is looking to consolidate this media availability and doesn’t want to introduce someone who will be rerouted elsewhere. Nor do they want to leave anyone out of these, only to stir up rumors that the player is on the chopping block.
With the strong connection to Jeff Peterson’s days in Atlanta, and the need for Cleveland to create financial flexibility, a trade for the German guard feels likelier than most options.

Charlotte’s Point Guard Situation
Coby White, signing a 3-year, $74 million contract, has been promoted to starter. His aggressive downhill driving, foul-drawing, and three-point shooting were a boon for Charlotte in the final months of the season. It will be intriguing to see how he plays alongside Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller, and how the starting unit operates with his style of play.
