Nicky Hayen addresses latest Burnley transfer speculation
Nicky Hayen has revealed Burnley remain locked in talks with Marcel Regula’s club over a potential transfer.
But the Clarets boss has made it clear that, should the player have any doubts over a summer move to Turf Moor, the deal will not go through.
It comes amid reports from Poland that the 19-year-old has not yet given the “green light” to a move from his current club Zaglebie Lubin, who are keen for a resolution.
“It’s just the same,” Hayen said today, when asked for an update on the situation.
“So we're still working hard and we're in conversations with the club, with the player.
“But of course, everything has to be in place for making a transfer and if we have a doubt, if a player has a doubt, then the transfer will not be there.”

Elsewhere on the speculation front this week, reports emanating from Turkey have suggested that Lesley Ugochukwu could be sent back early from his loan spell at Galatasaray.
The 22-year-old has yet to feature in a competitive game and already looks to be well down the pecking order, despite only making the move little over a month ago.
Clarifying the situation, Hayen said: “it's not the first thing that I hear about it because you hear some rumours, but you know how I react on rumours, So as long as it's not official, then there's nothing wrong.
“Of course, he didn't play so much as we hoped. But at the moment, he's still in Turkey and that's the way how it goes.”
It’s been a busy couple of weeks on the transfer front for Burnley, who have added Gregoire Coudert, Anel Ahmedhodzic, Max Alleyne and Dastan Satpayev to their ranks.
With an already big squad now extending to around 33 players, a number of departures are to be expected before the September 1 deadline.
“I was always straightforward [about that] towards the players,” Hayen explained.
“I said, if we have a new incoming signing, of course, you look to the numbers in your squad and when we have to release players, I will always inform the player individually.
“So if we make that decision that someone has to leave, we will tell that also straight to the player.”
One player who is likely to leave before the deadline is Andreas Hountondji, who has been linked with Schalke and St-Etienne.
