Before we dig in I do want to let you know we are calling a mid-year break on the regular pod. Having shifted to the weekly format at the beginning of the year we think we have started to build some good momentum with a growing roster of panellists and some superb guests. But as we are all doing this as a hobby it is hard to iterate on the run and we want to reload and make sure the format, production process and distribution models are all fit for purpose.

Plus, through July we have three live events lined up which will take a lot of our limited focus.

• The first of these is a Virtual briefing with Digital Rights Watch and GetUp! to discuss the creep of Palantir into Australia on Monday July 6.

• Then we will be holding a live show at the ALP National Conference’s Fringe Festival in Adelaide on the evening of Friday July 24. If you are in that par tof the world join us.

• Finally, we will be hosting a hybrid event for the Democracy Counts campaign in Parramatta on Tuesday July 28.

The plan is then to get back to normal transmission early August
