What do you want to achieve, what can you sacrifice?

Everybody dreams about something to achieve. It can be about business and career, or personal hobbies. There is one difference between a dreamer and a doer; execution. Dreaming is free and requires no capital at all. That’s why everybody has an idea or a dream. In terms of capital, I am not talking about money at all. Money is surely mandatory for almost any dream to come true. But I never considered a capital for a dream in that perspective. Energy and time are the most critical ones that should be considered when anyone talks about capital.

A very on point quote about devotion by Frank Lloyd Wright (Image courtesy of AZquotes)

When some of my friends come to me with their business ideas, the first thing I say to them is they should consider I have a bag of 1 million dollars with me that I am willing to invest in their dreams. It’s easy to complain about lack of money. Because it makes them stay in the comfort zone because they have no other chance. What can someone do without necessary money as capital? When I take out the money from the equation, they start to see the real capital they need to start. Execution needs time and energy first, then the money. Nobody will do it for you even they give you a million dollars, you need to do it. Don’t waste time on creating problems that don’t exist to make you fight in your comfort zone. Go one further step and question yourself. Do you have the devotion, the passion, the energy and time to execute? If the answer is no, don’t make excuses. If the answer yes, don’t accept any excuses. Just figure out what you need to sacrifice to create time and energy to get your hands dirty. If you want to continue dreaming, so be it. But if you want to realize your dreams, just do it!
