A People’s Guide to Tech & Mother Cyborg want to make it easy for folks to build agency around Artificial Intelligence, so we’re joining forces to launch APGT Book Clubs with A People's Guide to AI 2nd Edition.
Free Black Women’s Library Pop Up w/ Katelyn Rivas
June 19th 1 - 4pm
Free Black Women’s Library is a Black feminist lending library and biblio-installation that elevates Black women, femme, nonbinary and trans media makers. This will be an opportunity for folks to engage with our books, donate their books and trade books or other types of media for what is in the library.

Grand Blvd & Beyond invites art-curious audiences to a summer afternoon of cross-location programming. Come celebrate the Boulevard's artistic diversity with exhibitions, artist talks, open studios, and drop-in workshops.
Mini Black Zine Fair w/ Sojourners 4 Justice Press & Midnight Care Collective

This Black August, The Black Zine Fair is being brought to Detroit for the first time! This fair is about exploring publishing as a form of protest and survival. The Mini Black Zine Fair in Detroit is led by Neta Bomani & Midnight Care Collective and will be hosted by BULK Space Media Lab.
Though BULK has grown rapidly, it still operates in a landscape where Black and queer-led arts spaces are underfunded and at risk. We ask you to help protect a space where emerging voices can thrive and healing and mutual aid are as valued as art itself. The heart of BULK’s mission is access. We work to ensure that creativity is not a luxury, but a right.
“We need more spaces where people can just show up as they are and be met with love, creativity, and possibility,” says Clare Gatto, BULK Co-Director. “That’s what BULK gives—and what we’re fighting to protect.”
