🌸 Save the Date June 7 - BULK Space’s 1st Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser 🌸

On Saturday, June 7th, from 2–6 PM, BULK Space presents its 1st Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser, a joyful afternoon of art, food, music, and mutual support. The event aims to raise funds to sustain BULK’s programming, operations, and collective vision for an artist-led cultural space in Detroit.

Guests will enjoy an Art Sale featuring original work from BULK community members who have helped shape the exhibitions, programs, and public events that define BULK Space. This is more than a fundraiser—it's a celebration of the people and practices that make community-driven art possible. Grassroots Black and queer-led spaces often go underfunded or erased. This fundraiser is a call to action: help preserve a space that not only cultivates emerging voices, but also provides cultural memory, healing, and mutual aid.

Community access remains at the heart of BULK’s mission. From hosting free performances and skill-shares to creating accessible environments for celebration, BULK is deeply invested in ensuring that art and joy are not luxuries, but necessities everyone can reach.
