Policy Lunch 5/29: PA Permitting Reform w/ David Wade + Eliza Erickson

This Friday, we are thrilled to welcome David Wade and Eliza Erickson, two veterans of Pennsylvania’s successful state-level permitting reform initiatives.

David Wade is Chief of Staff at the Commonwealth’s Office of Transformation & Opportunity, and Eliza Erickson is a Bloomberg Public Innovation Fellow with the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins. Both were heavily involved with PA’s widely-heralded efforts to cut business permitting timelines, which reduced licensing and business processing timelines by 74% on average in 2025. We’re excited to hear their story and the lessons they learned along the way.
