Over thirty years sitting across from patients with complex chronic illness, I have come to regard the electromagnetic environment as one of the most consistently overlooked contributors to their symptom picture, and increasingly one of the most severe. The evidence has been accumulating for decades, but the clinical conversation has not kept pace with the technology. Most practitioners are not taking a thorough environmental health history before asking personal health questions and most patients are unaware of the extent to which their homes, their workplaces, and the city they live in are contributing to their chronic ill health.
In my view, the rate of electromagnetic advancement that is saturating our environments with electrosmog represents one of the most serious unacknowledged health crises of our time. I watched the rollout of 5G networks over the past several years and saw, in direct clinical correspondence, a worsening of the picture I was already tracking. A significant proportion of the patients I see, I would estimate close to ninety percent of those with complex multi-system illness, show measurable adverse biological responses to electromagnetic exposure. Now we are told that 6G is being developed with commercial deployment expected in the early 2030s, operating at frequencies for which there are no internationally agreed safety standards. We are building a world that is, quite literally, making people sick, and we are planning to accelerate it.
I am not, by temperament, an alarmist. I follow the research carefully, and I have made very deliberate choices about my own electromagnetic exposure for years, because I understand what the evidence shows and I regard it as one of the most important modifiable variables in health and longevity.

The current international safety guidelines cover electromagnetic exposure up to 300 gigahertz. 6G will operate above that threshold, and there are no agreed standards covering what is being built.
