One Week To Go...

To say the re-release of Imprinted snuck up on me would be a bit of an understatement. With so much other life (a full time job, freelance writing, two puppies, and planning get togethers with friends and family), sometimes my Author hat gets a little dusty before I can put it back on.

That’s not to say there’s not new things coming. Book 2 is almost ready, I’ve got to write the conclusion to the trilogy, and I’ve already got new ideas in the works. But today, I’m here to hype the exciting news that Imprinted will be releasing in ebook and paperback on August 15th!

Stars Above was a labor of love, written during a period of loneliness, trying to figure out who I was and who I wanted to be.

From sibling bonds, to trying to escape traumatic experiences, we may not be able to control everything that happens to us, but how we react can create more ripples than we could ever imagine.

Recently Read: Full Speed to a Crash Landing, How to Steal a Galaxy, both 5/5 reads and part of a trilogy I will soon be completing*

*It’s been a week, and I have yet to read book 3, Last Chance to Save The World…. It may be another week still until I actually get it read, but rest assured it is actively taunting me from my living room coffee table.

Things I’ve been watching. It’s a goal of mine to read more, and watch more long-form content. So this is to share things I’ve found interesting, and to keep me accountable to accomplishing that!

As someone who would love to pick up almost any and every craft, I would love to try out oil pastels! I even have a set or two in my desk drawer somewhere that I never used in art class… This was a fun and peaceful watch, and inspiring! As someone who struggles with art due to perfectionism/realism, this seems like a really helpful study in shapes and color and a way to let go of the worry about getting it ‘right.’

I used to listen to cozy nordic all the time on Spotify, until all their music came down… but I first discovered them on YouTube and that’s where they still are! There’s all sorts of cozy vibes and great focus/writing music if you’re into lofi.
