Hellooo! I was sick for a few days this week after the back to back events last week. Aaliyah Day was a huge success on Saturday. I cannot thank Adam Shore enough for asking me to host. It was an absolutely gorgeous day with the best vibes around. The performances from Tariq Al-Sabir, Anajah, Halima, Motherboard, Serpentwithfeet and Res were the perfect tributes to Baby Girl. On Sunday, I saw My Chemical Romance at Citi Field. They performed The Black Parade in its entirety, which was huge for teenage me. Our suite was right next to Olivia Rodrigo’s so I can absolutely confirm that she knows ball. My voice was completely shot by Monday, thanks in part to the combination of screaming “Helena” at the top of my lungs and the late night karaoke I had done the night before.

This week, I appeared on the podcast Infamous to discuss Ariana Grande’s career and the current discourse around her body. I shared some of my thoughts on the discourse last week, as well, and expanded on them in the episode. Hope you take a listen!
