Indiana, Pennsylvania’s own SHERRY CARPENTER is days away from not having to get up and endure the I-95 commute to her office at WJXT in Jacksonville. After a long (and it seems fun) run heading up creative and local programming, Miss Sherry is closing the office door and going to explore what retirement is all about. She’ll be taking her million-dollar smile with her wherever she goes, which will no doubt make WJXT less bright and cheerful. She was CSD at WOIO in Cleveland and WTAE in Pittsburgh along the way. A strong and brave lady, Sherry’s life could be a movie plot, and it would have a happy ending. The promo world (which really has ceased to exist) is all the more empty with her exit. Here’s to a very immense Well Dunne! Sherry.
