“Keep Our Hearts Close to Thine”
A scan of an anniversary card I made long ago… perhaps for the 1st one??
I thought myself mostly Eliza,
Just a trifle bit like dear Jane,
And at my worst I was Lydia,
(quite selfish, contrary, and vain).
Sometimes as silly as Miss Kitty,
Like Mary, bookish and plain,
But when I met my handsome Darcy,
He loved me so, just the same.
-
I had a bit of Beatrice’s wit,
Though that never was my fame,
No quarrel had I with Benedict,
I was his most steadfast flame.
Though not too unoften “Dogberry”
could be my bumbling name,
Quite absent minded, now and again,
He loved me so, just the same.
-
Now I’m much too much frantic Martha,
Mary’s peace I cannot quite claim,
Still I strive to raise saints like Zelie,
Be a helpmeet as Zita- my aim.
As he and I kneel Sundays and more
The direction we face, the same
As the day we pledged our troth to Him
Who called us together by name.
And unto gray hairs we’re forsaken not
For He loves each of us the same.
I’m happy to announce a new sticker pack! These are high-quality Sticker Mule stickers that last about forever, it seems. This pack has a Holy Hearts theme; these stickers would be perfect to tuck into some special Valentines! All of the stickers in my store include free shipping in the price. This makes the individual ones a little more pricey, but multiples bring the price down, and sticker packs give you the lowest price per sticker of all! There are two brand new designs in the sticker pack; all of the other designs are favorites that have been revamped and updated. Check it all out at the link below, and enjoy!
Now to go celebrate with Mr. Hude… we are traveling two towns over for our big day. ;) Many thanks to Mimi and Pa Hude for staying with the kids!
Pax Christi,
Adalee
