Coffee First...

In times of imminent crisis or even when we are all in the thick of it, it’s a good thing to be more prepared rather than less. But sometimes, crisis finds you where you least expect it. Some people prepare themselves with extra food stores, extra cash under the bed, or by establishing a firm footing in their community. Each crisis might mimic previous ones but I never find that they are wholly the same. And always the players are different and add, subtract, or manufacture unpredictable nuances while attempting to contain the damage and minimize impact. I have been hired to manage risk management in multiple outdoor leadership settings and I want to share a brief story with my paid subscribers this afternoon about one lesson I have retained from my college days, in the hopes that you find it useful.
