What It's Like Being Married to an Influencer

I’m sure most of you clicked into this post hoping for some dark juicy thigh-meat about how messed up our lives are behind the scenes or how living with an influencer is like living in a Bravo reality show. Well, I hate to burst your bubble right up top, but life as an influencer’s husband is not that crazy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s abnormal, sometimes I forget just how abnormal it is, but it’s not the Kardashian-level madhouse you may be imagining. It’s odd in very specific ways. Ways that are unique to Emily’s particular career path. And just like anyone’s career, you get used to those odd things as the years go on.

And in writing this update, I’m kind of amazed how, yes, things have changed, but how much they’ve actually stayed the same and how I‘ve just grown accustomed to them. Just like everything else in life, your routine becomes your routine and all the things that seemed insane at first become your daily life. It’s just that the things that occur in my daily life are a little more… let’s say unique, than most people’s.
