Welcome to Notes — a visual journal of what’s inspiring me right now. There are seasons where I feel inspired by big ideas, and then there are months like June that remind me it’s really the little things that make a home feel special.
A gathered skirt beneath a vanity. Fresh flowers clipped from the garden. A beautiful cabinet pull, soft blue florals, or a tassel tie on the back of a dining chair. None of these details are essential. But together, they’re what make a house begin to tell a story.
I’ve realized that’s true beyond our homes, too. Summer has a way of slowing me down enough to notice the things I usually rush past. A quiet bedroom in the morning, afternoons spent outside, getting dressed in pieces that feel timeless instead of trendy, or watching my kids enjoy another season of growing up.
I keep coming back to the same thought: belonging isn’t created all at once. It’s built through small, intentional choices that quietly become the backdrop of our lives. I hope these June inspiration images inspire you to pay attention to the little details in your own home this month. They’re often the ones that stay with us the longest.
