Welcome to Notes — a visual journal of what’s inspiring me right now. I came home from France with a camera roll full of... tiny spaces.
Not the grand rooms or the perfectly set tables (ok maybe some of those). It was the little things I couldn’t stop photographing. Fabric-covered walls. Paneled hallways. Fresh flowers sitting on a bathroom vanity. A chair tucked into the corner of a bedroom.
It’s funny how the smallest details are usually the ones that stay with you.
Coming home always gives me fresh eyes, too. Our garden is finally at its peak, the evenings are just a little slower, and I’ve found myself clipping flowers almost every morning just to scatter around the house.
As I looked back through my saved photos this month, I realized they’re all telling the same story. Homes don’t have to be extravagant to be memorable, I actually prefer the opposite. They just need thoughtful details, collected layers, and spaces that make you want to linger.
