In the dead of night, shadows crept, I had a wicked dream where anger slept.
In a room dimly lit, we stood face to face, Another confrontation in a haunted space.
Though I've never laid a hand on you, In that dark dream, I bit your cheek through.
Repressed anger, seething frustration, You took our kids, left desolation.
Now my subconscious stands front and center, Desires to confront, emotions enter.
Powerless in this real-life scene, Parental Alienation, cruel and mean.
Despite my anger, despite my pain, I seek resolution, to connect again.
Deep emotional hurt, betrayal felt, You invade my dreams, where secrets melt.
Helplessness, an open wound, pain revealed, The court won’t care, it’s all concealed.
My cries ignored, the biting act, A desperate plea, to make an impact.
In real life, I’d never do this to you,
For our kids’ sake, I must stay true.
