Phew, what a road trip!
The first year of my 5 year plan to do a photography road trip covering as much of Australia as possible is done! We completed the Brisbane to Darwin section of the trip this month, and it was epic. Honestly, I kept telling myself: “Australia is so underrated from a photography perspective.” In fact, I think even Australians themselves underrate it. There are just so many cool photo locations we found along the way.

So yeah, the 2026 version was epic.
The 2027 version only has 1 spot left available to join.
But this email is about announcing what’s next. The EPIC 2028 trip from Perth to Melbourne. We’ll cover some awesome places like the Bunda Cliffs, Cape Le Grande, The Watermelon Lake, The Great Ocean Road, and more!
All the information can be found here:
And there’s an early booking discount of 5% the total price for anyone that books before the end of May.
Discount on Japan
My winter Japan trip just had a cancellation. So there are now 2 spaces available. If you’d like to join that adventure, I am offering substack/newsletter subscribers a nice discount. Email me if you’re interested: brendanvanson@gmail.com
Tigers and Tigers!
Did you see my latest video?
I was in India with Thomas Heaton and we had a pretty awesome time. I saw a ton of Tigers until karma bit me in the butt. I guess, better a karma bite than a Tiger bite.
I’ll be going back to India in 2028 with TRVL as well!
I’m in Ireland!
My crazy bit of travel has continued after being home for 10 days in Portugal. I’m now in Ireland. It looks like we’re running into some pretty classic Irish weather (rain). But it’s so freaking beautiful.
