In the southwest of liberated Kherson Oblast, a new unit appeared to be carrying out strikes in the Kherson Direction — the 4th Guards Military Base (GVB). The 4th GVB is subordinate to the 58th Combined Arms Army, which has been regularly operating in the Kherson Direction for years now.
In this footage, FPV drone teams of the 4th GVB’s 116th Detachment carry out strikes on the decimated village of Stanislav. Previously, units of the 337th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the 104th VDV Division, the Don Cossack Brigade, 80th Arctic Motor Rifle Brigade, and the 61st Guards Naval Infantry Brigade were deployed in this area before being rotated away.

The channel Zona Red emerged recently —- it is a constant daily stream of dozens of videos not released on major channels, such as From Mariupol to the Carpathians. The channel’s title is “Kherson. Red Zone. 18th Combined Arms Army Battalion of Unmanned Systems”. Eskadron’s channel has been relatively inactive, making this channel a potential replacement. The videos are interestingly all uncaptioned and drawn from both the 18th CAA and the 98th VDV Division’s drone teams.
This strike on a person near the railway tracks outside Korabelnyi Raion could not be linked to an officially reported event.

On 20 August, Russian milblogger Osvedomitell Alex released footage of Russian forces conducting two FPV drone strikes on a humanitarian aid distribution point belonging to The Howard G. Buffett Foundation and Global Empowerment Mission. Russian forces used two Vandal fiber-optic FPV quadcopters — making the “G.E.M.” labels on the boxes of aid in the building clearly visible to the pilots.

Later, at 2:22, a civilian walking two dogs is hit by a skid-drop from a Russian drone. This incident could not be matched to any official reports.

This week the highest total of Russian drone attacks launched on Kherson Oblast since tracking began, with 6434 total drone attacks reported by Oleksandr Prokudin – almost 1000 more attacks than the previous record (5640). In the past 84 weeks, Russian forces have carried out at least 188,615 drone attacks in Kherson Oblast.
Ukrainian C-UAS operations intercepted 93% of Russian drone attacks, maintaining their interception rate from the past three months. Nevertheless, Russian forces still managed to successfully carry out 423 UAV strikes across Kherson Oblast. Inside Kherson urban hromada, Russian forces successfully carried out 163 drone strikes, while in the rest of the Oblast, Russian forces carried out 260 successful strikes.
No updates were published on counter-Shahed or counter-UAS team strike operations.

On Monday, a Russian drone struck a civilian car in the market in the village of Bilozerka, wounding a 37-year-old man. Another drone strike in Bilozerka wounded a 41-year-old man.
In Kherson’s Tavriyskyi Raion, two Kherson Police officers (29 & 39) were wounded by a Russian drone strike on their police car.
In Shumenskyi Raion, Russian drone attacks wounded three civilians. A 62-year-old bus driver was wounded by a strike on a bus stop. Two additional strikes wounded a 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. In the nearby Zhytloselyshche neighborhood, a Russian drone struck a marshrutka, wounding a 63-year-old bus driver.
Additionally, a Russian drone attack in an unidentified part of Kherson city wounded a 46-year-old female utility worker.
On Tuesday, around 6:30 AM, a 71-year-old man, who was attempting a crossing of the treacherous railway bridge from Korabel Island back to the mainland, triggered the detonation of an anti-personnel mine and suffered shrapnel wounds to his extremities.
Also in Korabelnyi Raion, after 7 PM, Russian drones struck apartment buildings, wounding two women (69 & 74).
At 5 PM, a Russian drone strike on an apartment building in Dniprovskyi Raion wounded a 42-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman.
In the city center, a 27-year-old DSNS first responder was wounded by a Russian FPV drone strike on an emergency vehicle. Another drone attack in the central district wounded a 60-year-old woman. In the afternoon, a 57-year-old man and 55-year-old woman were both wounded by a Russian drone strike.
Kherson Police also reported that an unidentified DSNS first responder was wounded at an unspecified prior date by Russian shelling.

“This morning, Russia turned Kherson into a tragedy. The enemy attacked a minibus with a drone, targeting a vehicle carrying people going about their daily lives.
The Russian terrorist who was controlling the drone could not have failed to see that he was targeting civilian transport. Despite this, the operator dropped an explosive directly onto the roof of the bus.
After the attack, the driver made the decision to drive the damaged vehicle to the hospital in order not to waste precious time. He risked being attacked again, but the most important thing was to get the injured to medical personnel as quickly as possible.
This Russian attack claimed the lives of four people. My sincere condolences to their families and loved ones.
Five more people – the driver and four passengers – were injured to varying degrees. They are currently receiving the necessary medical care.”
On Wednesday morning, at 9 AM, a Russian drone strike in Korabelnyi Raion killed four civilians and wounded five more. Among the dead were three elderly women (63, 71 & 89) and a 69-year-old man. The 58-year-old bus driver was wounded himself, but continued driving the bus directly to the hospital, saving the lives of the gravely wounded on the bus. Exact details were not released by official sources, but it was reported that four women between the ages of 48 & 77 were admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
Later, at 11:15 AM, another Russian drone strike wounded a 51-year-old man. Another drone attack at 2:40 PM wounded a 56-year-old man. Around 2 PM, an 82-year-old woman was wounded by a Russian drone strike. At 4 PM, a Russian drone attacked an ambulance, wounding two female pedestrians nearby (45 & 70) — no medical personnel were wounded. An additional strike in the afternoon wounded a 46-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. A nighttime drone attack wounded a 70-year-old woman and 73-year-old man. Russian artillery shelling in Korabelnyi Raion wounded a 52-year-old man.
In the city center, Russian artillery shelling wounded a 58-year-old man some time in the morning. At 10 AM, a Russian drone struck a car, killing an 82-year-old woman and wounding a 43-year-old man and 36-year-old woman. In the evening, just before 8 PM, a Russian drone strike wounded a 50-year-old man.
On the east side of the city, a Russian drone strike killed a 65-year-old woman in the Tekstylne neighborhood.
To the west of Kherson, in the village of Komyshany, a Russian drone strike on civilians in their own yard wounded a 54-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man. Shelling in the same village wounded another 54-year-old woman and an 88-year-old man.
On Thursday morning, starting at about 6:20 AM, Russian forces carried out a series of FPV drone strikes across Korabelnyi Raion, striking a bus carrying municipal utility workers near a market. In total, at least nine utility workers were wounded — two women (35 & 55) and seven men (29, 38, 49, 50, 55, 64 & 65).
At 7 AM, a Russian drone strike wounded a 40-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, who were traveling on a motor-scooter. Other drone attacks throughout the day and evening wounded a 69-year-old woman and at least seven more men (34, 35, 43, 60 , 63, 64 & 74). Russian MRL shelling in the evening wounded an unidentified woman and two men (41 & 64).
In Dniprovskyi Raion, a Russian airstrike that damaged an educational institution wounded a 51-year-old woman.
To the west of Kherson, in the town of Bilozerka, Russian shelling wounded three men (51, 58 & 65). Nearby in Komyshany, Russian shelling wounded a 66-year-old woman.

On Friday, Russian forces attacked a police car in the city center, killing 41-year-old officer, Major Anatolii Zahrodskyi, and wounding his 40-year-old partner, Sergeant Vadym Domaev. Sergeant Domaev died in hospital three days later.
At 9 AM, a Russian drone attacked and wounded a 43-year-old man in the Pivnichnyi neighborhood. Two hours later, another Russian drone strike wounded a 68-year-old woman.
In the village of Lymanets, a Russian Molniya strike wounded two police officers (21 & 24).

Last night, one of the shopping facilities in the city’s central district was once again targeted by enemy drone strikes. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out.
The footage shows what remains of the building: completely burned-out retail spaces, collapsed roof structures, and damaged glass facades and windows.
Fortunately, no one from among the residents of Kherson was injured.”
On Saturday, Russian forces attacked the Tavriyskyi Mall in the northeast of Kherson city center with Shahed UAVs. At about 10 AM, Russian drones attacked three utility workers — a 63-year-old male electrician and two female utility workers (42 & 52).
In the morning, two men (57 & 61) were wounded by a Russian drone strike in Korabelnyi Raion. A third man (44) was wounded in a separate drone strike. A third drone attack in the morning wounded a 60-year-old woman and 61-year-old man.
At 10 AM, Russian forces attacked a group of apartment buildings in Korabelnyi Raion, wounding a 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman at one location, and a 59-year-old woman at another.
To the west of Kherson city, Russian forces attacked the village of Komyshany with artillery and drones. A drone attack wounded a 70-year-old man. Artillery shelling wounded a 70-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman.
On Sunday, drone strikes on apartment buildings in the city center wounded a 70-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman.

A 45-year-old woman was wounded by a Russian drone strike in Dniprovskyi Raion. Another strike in the same area during the day wounded a 53-year-old woman and 53-year-old man.
In Korabelnyi Raion, Russian shelling killed an unidentified middle-aged man. A drone strike in the same district wounded an 85-year-old woman.
On 17 August, at about 5:30 AM, a Russian FPV strike targeted two pedestrians in the village of Novokairy, killing two men (58 & 67). Two more civilians were wounded by Russian drone attacks — a 71-year-old man in Novovorontsovka and a 73-year-old woman in Havrylivka.
On 18 August, a 60-year-old man in the village of Sahaidachne picked up an undetonated Russian drone that fell in his yard and was wounded after he accidentally triggered a detonation after attempting to disassemble, disarm, and defuse it on his own. At about 8:30 AM, Russian forces launched a swarm of FPV drones at the village of Rakivka, wounding an 80-year-old man after striking his home. Another drone strike in the village of Zolota Balka wounded a 54-year-old woman.
On 20 August, a 63-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were wounded by a Russian FPV drone strike in the village of Vysoke. In the afternoon, a Russian drone strike wounded a 64-year-old man in the village of Novoraisk.
On 21 August, a 74-year-old man was killed by a Russian drone strike in the village of Osokorivka. Russian shelling in Novoraisk wounded a 43-year-old man.
On 23 August, a 63-year-old man was wounded by a Russian drone strike on the village of Biliaivka.
Since January 2024, Russian military action in Kherson Oblast has caused at least 8513 civilian casualties. Of the more than 8500 civilian casualties, Russian forces have killed 828 and wounded 7685 in Kherson Oblast. Of those, 7542 are from attacks in Kherson Raion, while 971 are from attacks in Beryslav Raion.
In Kherson Raion, 677 civilians have been killed and 6865 have been wounded. Russian drone attacks have killed 308 and wounded 3587 civilians. Russian shelling has killed 350 and wounded 3095 civilians. Russian landmines and UXO have killed 13 and wounded 109 civilians. Russian large UAV attacks have killed 6 and wounded 74 civilians.
In Beryslav Raion, 151 civilians have been killed and 820 have been wounded. Russian drone attacks have killed 105 and wounded 563 civilians. Russian ballistic missile strikes have killed 2 and wounded 4 civilians. Russian shelling has killed 36 and wounded 157 civilians. Russian landmines and UXO have killed 7 and wounded 83 civilians. Russian large UAV attacks have wounded 7 civilians. Other unspecific Russian military actions have resulted in 1 civilian death and 6 wounded civilians in Beryslav Raion.
Human Safari drone attacks have killed 413 people and wounded 4150 more across Kherson Oblast in just over two years.
