What a start to the new year! OnBoardXR won XRMUST’s 2022 XR Event of the Year Award, Non-Player Character got a write up in LA Life Times after the livestream of our London prototype passed 4,000 viewers, and we began virtual rehearsals to keep developing the show for our next on-site presentation at USITT in St. Louis this March!
We’re putting out an open invitation to join to private rehearsals and experience the show in your headset and/or computer. (You can also share this invitation with others!)
Up to 4 Participants can join every THURSDAY @ 3pm PACIFIC.

BACKGROUND
In traditional theater, a new musical goes through "workshops" and "previews" to try out new scenes, music, and audience feedback before its premiere. As the creator and performer, I am nervously excited to bring that legacy online by inviting you to a live "play through" of my show. It's an experimental peak "behind the curtain" of live virtual reality using what we love about "Let's Play" culture. You will experience live improvisation, live music and live animation cueing inside a 3D virtual world on your web-browser and your play style and choices will directly influence the show.
PRE-SHOW
We’re using a tool called Restream as a “backstage” to gather before and during the show to chat, troubleshoot and share a cinematic of the virtual experience. Attendees can add their own social links to livestream the rehearsal to their channel.
JOINING THE SHOW
Guests will be given a unique url to type into their preferred device to "Join Room," ideally on their VR headset's web browser. MetaQuest users can actually open the link on their phone and send directly to the Oculus App. Guests who do not have a VR Headset join the link on their computer, preferably using Google Chrome. Regardless of device, we ask our Guests to please wear headphones to prevent "slap back."
