Apologies, I don’t normally send out more than two posts a week. I just need our international pickleball community to help get us across the finish line.
The doors are just opened and our new North Augusta YMCA is already buzzing with members! I am the volunteer pickleball coordinator and coach, and we have already had three PB 101 classes with members starting to become regular players.
Tomorrow is our official Grand Opening celebration, and we want to share a massive milestone with everyone during the event.
We have raised nearly $2.6 million for this incredible facility. Now, we are just $10,000 away from fully funding the campaign that includes two professional-grade indoor pickleball courts.
Our WISH is to announce that this fundraise is 100% complete during tomorrow’s ceremony. We only need $10,000 more dollars to make that happen.
Additionally, if we can push past that and hit $12,000 before the event, we will purchase a Titan Pickleball machine for the Y PB program.
This top-tier training tool will allow us to run automated skill clinics and help players of all levels master the game.
