On May 10, 2025, Marshall University celebrated its 188th Commencement Exercises, marking a major milestone for nearly 1,500 graduates.
From the moment the Grand Mace led the procession to the last joyful toss of mortarboards, it was a day filled with tradition, transformation, and pride. As Brad D. Smith shared on Facebook:
“This past weekend’s commencement ceremony filled me with pride and excitement… I can’t wait to see how you all use your newly acquired skills to build a better future.”
