Finding the "Why" in the Grunt Work

Thank you to Rebecca Casbeard, Jones Beach, The JB Corso, Me and everyone else who tuned into my live video today!

While I dodged sleet and disrupting other hikers… we took in the metaphors of the paths, valleys, mountains and bridges all around me. Reflecting on what they might reveal about our deeper “Why” in our daily work.

As is often the case with my silent screams of “Why?”… there were no immediate answers. But the space created by the question and simply taking steps up the hill let the deep frustration, anger, and the search move through and fall away.

What was left was… “you’re in the right place”.
