And why this isn't a bad thing

A couple of days ago, something clicked for me.

I was experimenting with Gemini Live’s screenshare feature, and I asked it to guide me through how to use ZoomInfo. And if you’ve used Zoominfo before you know just how tedious and overwhelming the platform looks like at first. And without manuals or lengthy tutorials, it provided simple, precise instructions just "click here, do this," step-by-step. Basic yet it worked.

This moment highlighted and important truth: AI isn't merely about automating jobs; it’s fundamentally reshaping how we interact with technology and therefore, our entire world.

How We Interface with Technology

Consider your typical workflow say as an SDR at Salesforce:

You login to your computer > click gmail > scan any new emails you get > got a response from a campaign you’re running > you read what the email says > think of a response > write it out > hit send > repeat for other emails > go to active campaigns > see performance > now onto prospecting > think of accounts to target > build list > account research based on several variables > find trigger events new/old > identify people to target > reach out etc

This pattern, with slight variations in tools, messaging, or targeting, represents the universal sales prospecting workflow. Sales isn’t rocket science until you reach the highest tiers, where Enterprise AEs manage multi-million-dollar pipelines.

And at that point you aren’t running a sales process but more of a business.

Here's a great example of what that looks like:

Yet, most of us aren’t at that level. We're primarily button pushers, and that's perfectly okay. My goal is to ensure you're pushing those buttons as efficiently as possible, freeing you to pursue better sales roles or manage your current role/tasks more efficiently.

The AI Advantage

However, any job dependent on a specific sequence of actions can eventually be replicated and improved by AI. While full AI replacement won't happen overnight due to company resistance and operational complexities, the shift is inevitable.

The good news is that AI will significantly raise the bar for average performers. Soon, being average means executing your current workload at double the scale or with dramatically increased quality. The AI-enabled future is one where you seamlessly blend quantity and quality, achieving previously impossible levels of productivity.

Imagine hitting 80% of your sales quota by working just two focused hours daily. With AI, that's possible. And not just in the future but today!

Overcoming AI’s Current Limitations

The biggest limitation of AI software as I see it is ingesting the right context. So that could mean if you don't currently have an AI tool in your company you have no way of knowing what context you need to export in order to generate Quick results. Let's say you wanna create a cold email response to nudge a deal along. You went back-and-forth with this company for let's say one or two weeks and you already gave a demo and now you're trying to figure out next steps or what message to send next.

There's a few tricks to accomplish this. You could export the entire email chain to a PDF, HTML, or an email file. You could export the entire salesforce record and activity history. You could copy and paste the contents of each email or cold call transcript. Which is the most inefficient but it would accomplish the goal. Or you could have a seamless integration to whatever AI you use and then generate material based on that.

But for the vast majority, the current systems are not established to be able to do the seamlessly at scale. That's why it is on you the sales rep to figure out how you can do it on your own so you can get 50% better results than everybody else at your company while they're still playing catch-up.

This is the time to get ahead.

Take advantage of the fact that most companies are behind on this and trying to catch up. This is where you can stand out above all the other sales reps on your team and look like you're doing inhuman amounts of activity. This is the time to succeed. This is the time to learn how to use AI and your sales tools correctly so you can work 1-2 hours a day and get the results of somebody that works 6-8 hours a day.

And honestly I wouldn't advise only working one or two hours a day that's strictly depends on your ambition and what you want to be in life. If you truly wanna get ahead you'll work one or two hours a day at one job and then use all that extra time to become a better sales person, or to get another job and do the same process working only 1-2 hours a day, or to start building a side business. Or start stacking SDR contracts like what @FidelCacheFlow talks about in his private community Desperado Sales Group or get another/better job via in his private incubator The Cocoon Incubator Enterprise Sales Career Blueprint or many of the other sales communities that help you increase the amount of money you make.

The goal should be to optimize your current job so you can work the least amount of hours possible while pursuing other opportunities. Or if you don't want to work more simply maximize your life enjoyment.

How much better would your life be if you only worked two hours a day? How would you spend your time then? Would you hang out more with friends? Would you go on more vacations? Would you enrich your mind by reading new books? Or consuming content that expands your consciousness? How much better would your life be if you weren't spinning your wheels working six hours a day just to perform average or below average?

That’s what my account is dedicated to. It’s to give you more of your time back so you can spend it however you want. It’s to get rid of all the bullshit that’s slowing you down and preventing you from living your life the way you want to. And it all starts by learning the correct order to click the buttons each and every day to get the best results.

I've done it with at this point hundreds of reps I've either worked with directly or have purchased one of my courses. I know it works. My content has helped generate over 100+ million in pipeline *that I know of*. I've given tens of thousands of hours back to sales reps just like you.

You've been sold a lie.

You don't have to spend 8 hours a day prospecting. You don’t have to “grind”. You don’t have to hate your sales job. It doens’t have to be so damn hard!

You can spend one hour a day prospecting and the rest of your time actually selling or focusing on things that actually matter to you.

And it all starts by learning the correct order to push the buttons.

If you want to learn how to do that start by getting one of my courses that show you right order to click your buttons then look below:

Stay tuned for my Apollo.io course launch coming very soon! (for real this time don’t worry haha. I’m tying it all together as we speak!)

I’m also working on creating a course showing you how to add AI into your sales process. But that will take a little time because I want to make sure that everybody can use it and it isn't reliant on a specific technology in-particular.

In the meantime I'm gonna continue to share more tips tricks and techniques on how to leverage it today. I’ll be launching a nice intro into this tomorrow. You already saw my trigger event prompt and how powerful that was. There’s so much more that can be done and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!
