Who said publishing had to be a solitary, go-it-alone process?
The Boston Congress of Public Health Research Scholars Program (RSP) pairs aspiring public health professionals, clinicians, and scholars with a dedicated faculty mentor for 12 weeks of one-on-one support, from shaping a research question to submitting for publication.
Applications for the Fall 2026 cohort close August 24, 2026.
The model works, with scholars:
Working one-on-one with a faculty mentor to shape and sharpen their research focus,
Co-producing at least one poster and one or more publications, with the goal of publishing in BCPHR, the Boston Congress of Public Health Review, and
Presenting their poster in a live webinar to a national audience.
RSP scholars have already published multiple articles through the program and, in addition to presenting during the RSP webinar, they have abstracts selected at competitive national conferences, including APHA!
Walk into the new academic year with peer-reviewed scholarship already in progress. Meet past RSP scholars, or apply here before the August 24 deadline.
Spots are limited and strong applications take time, so start the cycle right and get yours in now. Know someone ready to make this their year? Forward this their way. 🙌
On May 21, we celebrated five years of independent programs, fellowships, awards, training, and publishing at our first-ever BCPH Gala—where we honored our 40 Under 40 Public Health Catalyst Award winners in person.
That work only continues with you. The BCPH Friends Fund keeps our fellowships, podcasts, and public health programming independent and in the hands of the people doing the work. Every gift counts, and you can start with just a dollar.
