The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness… —Ex. 34:6
In the Born to Fly Premium Community we had this thing called “Pitstop”.
It’s was a weekly meeting.
We discussed our priority tasks for that week and we shared a habit that we wanted to implement.
Many wanted to memorize Bible verses, like myself.
I memorized Exodus 34:6:
“Adonai, Adonai, compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth,” (TLV)
Especially the last word—truth, or faithfulness in other translations—turned out to be a support for me doing business.
In Hebrew, it’s “Emet”.
God being “emet” means truth, but even more so, trustworthy.
God always does what He promises.
The Bible accounts for that many times; like when God promises Abraham his offspring will be countless as the stars in the sky.
Or when Israel is promised an everlasting Kingdom → by Jesus.
God is unshakably loyal.
—And that rock-solid faithfulness leads to trust.
You can trust God is still faithful.
His promises are never broken!
That’s why it’s so important to know what God’s promises are.
There are so many!
Once we know them we can stand in those promises, proclaim them, never lose hope, and completely trust God has our backs.
Whew!
That’s the foundation I want for my business. How about you?
