So, it’s probably not news to anyone that Substack has now integrated an AI detection tool onto the platform. Don’t worry, this post isn’t about that really, but it did inspire me to compile this book list.
In the age of the internet and our chronic online-ness, it means that it’s almost impossible to escape. I would be lying if I said I haven’t felt perturbed late at night thinking about the implications of AI being EVERYWHERE. But that’s why books are the best - they can be an incredible escape into a story that excludes the anxieties of real world problems. Especially books written by real humans with zero AI assistance :) So I compiled a book list that includes stories that are absent of AI technologies or will just force you to get LOST!
Also, since I don’t use AI to write my posts and I am finishing this at 11:30PM, apologies if you find typos in the AM before I do!
