BREAKING NEWS: I was busy working on a column for you about another pressing issue when - kaboom- I saw that Todd Blanche, who will likely be confirmed as Trump’s Attorney General was just caught bragging on tape that he will end abortion in America.
Blanche apologized to the fervent anti abortionists on the call for Trump not already succeeding in banning abortion throughout the country.
Fortunately for the women of America and those who love them, the audio of of his call was posted for a few hours on Youtube by a Virginia religious group, Intercessors for America.
So now know for sure, what we already suspected - Trump lied once again and will not leave the legality of abortion up to individual states.
Remember, how he promised to do that during his 2024 presidential campaign.
Well, forget that, confirms Blanche. He and the Department of Justice, the Health and Human Services Department and the FDA - under RFK Jr - and Trump’s White House are working hand in hand on ways to effectively end all abortion in America.
Oh, and in case, you have any doubts that Trump isn’t fully in on this mission to end the reproductive rights of 171.77 million women and girls- the call was hosted by the White House Faith Office on July 30.
Here’s exactly what Todd Blanche, who acts as Trump’s ‘personal lawyer/ fixer’ told the faith leaders about Trump’s secret plan to ban abortion from coast to coast:
“We have a lot of work to do around the pro abortion policies of the Biden administration and some of that is taking longer than we want but rest assured.”
“The Justice Department is working hand in hand” with HHS, the FDA and the White House Trump’s team so that the Dobbs decision becomes permanent in every single state.”
“If states have said we’re not going to protect the unborn, we are going to protect the unborn. And we’re going to protect every life from the moment of conception,’ we’re putting practices and policies in place so that other states and other organizations can’t attack that and they can’t do things like they’re doing with mail-order drugs.”
The administration is “putting practices and policies in place so that other states and other organizations” can’t send abortion pills through the mail to states where they are banned.”
“We don’t have complete victory yet, but we will have victory, and victory will be soon and it will be permanent,” he said.
There you have it.
You may be wondering why I said that we are fortunate that the audio of this Blanche phone call was posted on YouTube for a few hours.
That’s because it’s always better for you, for every American woman, for all the medical providers, abortion access organizations and abortion pill providers to know the truth about what we are up against.
Then we can do everything we can to fight back back in every way against Trump’s diabolical plan to end abortion access in America and complete his goal of making women 2nd class citizens with no right to control their own bodies.
So here’s what to do: alert your friends and family so they are as informed as you are. Contact your Congress people and Senators and tell them that you expect them to protect your reproductive rights. Then also call your state representatives and governors and tell them the same thing.
Then please donate to Planned Parenthood, local independent abortion clinics and abortion access groups so they can fight back in the courts against whatever Trump and his ‘private lawyer/fixer’ Todd Blanche try to do.
Then make sure that you get out and vote in the November mid term elections for every Democrat you can. Only a Democratic Congress and Senate will be able to put a stop to Trump and Blanche.
And only Democratic state legislatures and governors will protect your access to abortion.
This is real. This is serious. It’s out of the mouth of Todd Blanche who will be the next Attorney General.
But there are more of us who care about our right to control our bodies, than there are Blanches, Trumps, RFK Jrs and anti abortion zealots. Let’s fight this together!
