We’re nearly two months out from Election Day, so I wanted to give you an update on where things stand in TX-15.
It’s been a busy summer of campaigning, and honestly, most of the news has been good. Here are just a few highlights:
For the first time since I entered this race, we outraised my opponent Monica De La Cruz.
Not long after that, election experts began shifting their predictions in our favor.
Now, three separate polls have me ahead of De La Cruz.
None of that happened overnight. It’s the direct result of months of this team showing up and pitching in. Quinceañeras, ranch halls, weddings, church events, and every conversation in between.
When people ask how we turned a district Trump won by 18 points into the #1 tossup seat in Texas, here’s the honest answer: we just kept showing up.
Now the question has become whether we can sustain what we’ve built.
Monica De La Cruz still has $2.5 million in the bank, and she’s already begun unloading her war chest on attack ads. She knows she’s lost ground, and now, over these last two months, she’s trying to buy back the lead.
The whole country is watching to see how we respond. After all, if we take this seat, Democrats take back the House.
