The Hall is gnerously offering a guided tour of The Hall before the talks for £10.
Please arrive at 6pm for a prompt start at 6.15pm. It will finish in time for you to have a drink and then listen to Steve's talk.
Their guided tours invite you to step back in time and experience the grandeur of this magnificent estate. As you traverse the hallowed halls, you will hear the stories and secrets that have shaped this distinguished residence once described as "the best-built house for the quality of a gentleman in Wiltshire."
The Tour costs £10 and there are limited places. Only those that pre-book will be allowed on the tour.
About the talk
A talk and discussion on appropriate and actionable lessons from a 20+ year RAF flying career. Including thoughts on dealing with imposter syndrome and the importance of the debrief in learning from mistakes (and trying not to make the same ones over and over again).
You'll come away from this talk with an understanding of the vital lessons Steven learned, plus concepts you can apply in everyday life and business.
About the speaker
Steven Pook is a former squadron leader in the RAF, flying fast jets operationally for 20 years including the Tornado F3, Hornet F/A-18 (as seen in the film Topgun II - Maverick) and was the executive officer on a UK Typhoon squadron.
Steven was a qualified weapons instructor (or Topgun equivalent) tasked with training pilots and navigators in the tactical operation of their aircraft. Post the RAF Steven went on to train as a teacher and taught in both primary and secondary schools for 4 years before taking up a post leading on the design, operation and training delivery of synthetic training and simulator devices.
What are Bradford Talks?
Arrive from 0700pm and the first thirty minutes or so will be a chance to have a drink and have some chats.
We will start at 0730pm and finish no later than 0830pm.
There will be a donation bar at the event kindly supplied by The Hall. We suggest a minimum £5 donation which will be given directly to the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust.
After the talk, feel free to stay as long as you want, or until The Hall kicks us out.

Our Venue: The Hall
We are now hosting our talks at The Hall, Holt Road, Bradford on Avon.
This Jacobean mansion is the one-time home to Dr Alex Moulton and is now cared for by the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust who have generously given us the space to meet.
There is parking for up to 8 cars at The Hall but we hope that, if you can, you will walk or cycle. It is only a 5 minute walk from The Shambles. Entry is through the ‘Eagle’ Gates on Holt Road.
