Hi,
I am slowly settling back in the mountains after traveling for over a month. The woods are thick with shades of green, and the sky is captivating. The birds are active and fill the air with their cheery sounds.
Each morning, I set up my nest on the porch for my sadhana, personal yoga, breath, and meditation practice. The colder temperatures require the standard uniform to include a wool hat and socks, several blankets, and my old, ragged L.L. Bean men’s sweater. By the time I finish my meditation, I am able to drop a blanket. My cup of ceremonial cacao warms me up to my toes. After painting, journaling, and playing in my visual journals, I step outside.
I walk down the driveway to observe the emergence of new plants and smile at the rapid growth. At the bottom of the driveway, I stand in the sunshine.
I raise my arms to the sky and breathe deeply.
I welcome the new day.
I am grateful for the soothing rhythm of home.
Guided relaxation to come home to yourself.
Come outside with me as I lead you in an opportunity to connect to the Earth, relax, and gather your scattered energy back home.
If you can, go outside and lie down on the ground. Feel free to grab a yoga mat or blanket for underneath and on top of you. Bring any additional props that help you sink into the moment and feel comfy.
Enjoy the morning birdsong!

The stillness is an invitation and a reminder to seek rest more often throughout the day. To honor the natural rhythms and listen to what the mind, body, and soul actually need.
Instead of pushing and being productive, can you pause instead?
Can you feel the simplicity and ease of doing less?
There are many soothing and inspiring ways to use the body as a tool to come home to yourself in a deep and nourishing way.

Magically, we seem to be halfway through the Spring season. How did that happen?
What has this Spring season awakened within you emotionally, physically, or relationally?
What practices allow you to feel grounded and supported in order to be aware of the challenging emotions or uncertainty without allowing them to consume you?
I hope that you gift yourself the time and space to be present to the wild magic of the season. To step outside and feel supported by the ground beneath your feet. To be in awe of the emerging blooms and color.
What a gift!
Take care.
Talk to you soon!
