Last October we had the pleasure of meeting Sophie, a chef living in Portugal, who was staying at Hotel Leone (The Boutique Hotel which hosts my Art Retreat - there are a couple of spots remaining for this June)
Sophie and her husband , Filipe, own a regenerative Farm in Portugal. They are both trained chefs, and now Live, work and teach cooking workshops.
They have expanded to hosting retreats and while Sophie was in Italy, the idea came up to work together on a Culinary and Art Retreat.
Fast forward 6 months later and we are launching this wonderful Retreat for September 2027 after chatting and saying “Yes” to a new friendship and adventure.

It really does look very dreamy, I know so many people who would love to learn what Sophie and her husband will teach us all during the week.
We’ll visit a couple of local towns with our sketchbooks always in our bags. Any free time on the itinerary in the afternoon can be spent either with me painting and sketching, or, having time for yourself.
Do you LOVE food? But don’t consider yourself an artist? That’s ok, anyone can explore and play with colours, textures and mark making. You’ll surprise yourselves in how art and play can be an extremely relaxing pass-time.
