When Garett Brennan calls to say his band is driving through my area, we say “When can you come into the studio and for how long?” That’s how we recorded Hard Up Babe, one of my favorite Garett Brennan songs.
They had driven hundreds of miles for a tour in my area. We had them in the studio for a few hours - which was fine…. not enough time to think of making mistakes just make music. Tell us the story. Record 5 songs. Leave for your gigs and we’ll do the rest.
