Close to the Soul is a warm, live-in-the-studio Americana album that brings together Keith Greeninger, Chris Kee, and Brain (Bryan Mantia) for the first time. It was originally recorded during a private concert at our studio for NPR hosts.

Their chemistry is immediate—Keith’s resonant, soulful vocals blend seamlessly with Chris’s steady bass lines and Brain’s expressive drumming, creating an intimate, organic atmosphere.

Recording directly to tape and DSD, The recording captures every nuance with striking clarity, making you feel as though you’re sitting right in the room as they play.
