Soundbath for a New Earth is the latest music release from Wendy Tahara, presented as a continuous, meditative sound-bath experience designed for deep listening. No AI or synthesizers were used in this recording.

The 59-minute work is a one take composition performed by Wendy, Lydia Hwang and Alan Yip. The instruments played on this project are chimes, drums, seed shakers, rainstick, maracas, storm maker, chapata leaves, ocean drum, fairy chimes, koshi chimes, and a hawk whistle. The result is a focused, contemplative recording aimed at listeners seeking stillness.

Recorded and mixed to DSD256 captures the full acoustic instrument experience. Also available in other high resolution formats.

When The Harp Sings is a solo Celtic harp release from Wendy, presented as an intimate, heart-centered collection of original harp compositions. Wendy’s playing emphasizes melodic phrasing that supports meditation and calming emotions. Originally recorded to DSD256 by Cookie Marenco at OTR Studios.

Presence of Stars is the debut solo piano improvisation album from Wendy recorded direct to DSD256. The work reflects her classical piano background through organic, meditative performances. The album’s atmospheric, improvised quality positions it as a serene listening experience rather than a traditional composed record.

Luis Perez travelled from Nicaragua to OTR Studios in San Francisco to record his solo album and mix his band album. Originally, he had only planned on mixing at the studio, but when producer, Cookie Marenco, heard him playing the guitar she wouldn’t let him return home without a solo album recorded.

Luis only spoke Spanish and Cookie only spoke English but they understood each other perfectly in the studio proving again that music transcends language barriers.

Live in San Francisco presents Luis Perez in his most stripped-down form, relying solely on voice and guitar to convey emotional depth]. His solo guitar rendition of Kansas’ “Dust in the Wind,” reimagined as “Polvo en el viento,” reflects a pan-American sensibility that transcends language.

Corazón brings together vocalist Vivian Sanchez and guitarist Luis Perez in a recording rooted in Latin American musical traditions and emotional expression. Recorded in Nicaragua and mixed at OTR Studios, San Francisco, CA by Cookie Marenco.
