In Oklahoma, temperatures were notably warm, averaging 2 to 4 degrees above normal. Precipitation patterns across the state were varied; while the southwestern portion of the state was among the driest locations in the region, a continuing wet pattern elsewhere contributed to further drought relief. Specifically, drought conditions were eliminated across eastern Oklahoma, and improvements were observed across much of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. Despite these positive developments, widespread severe and extreme drought conditions unfortunately persisted in parts of the panhandle region.

Everyone is encouraged to go vote. State Question 832 is on this ballot. The State Question vote is open to everyone, regardless of political party.

The polls will be open Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Early voting is currently going on, Thursday (6/11), Friday (6/12, 8 AM - 6 PM), and Saturday (6/13, 8 AM - 2 PM).
