This series was totally unexpected. It evolves very quickly and you can’t help but grow fond of the main characters. Season 2 felt a bit forced, maybe… the finale is quite harsh. But season 3 is airing now, so I keep my fingers crossed!

I think that a film was the wrong format for this (wonderful) idea. A short series would have been more appropriate: the movie was too short (and had some overcomplicated choices, IMO) to narrate everything. But it is still quite solid!

Yesterday morning I went out to take out the trash and, in the paper, I found a dozen old books or more. Among them were these three gems: the first editions of the Italian series Urania from 1962 of some classics by Arthur C. Clarke and Richard Matheson, and the extremely famous Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein! 
 I was lucky for sure, but overall the books should never have been thrown…

I would have never told that this thriller/crime novel was by the same author of Solaris . It’s like discovering the Black Widowers series by Asimov. Anyway, I discovered this audiobook (in Italian) by chance and I liked it a lot: not only because it is mainly set in Italy, but the plot evolves in a very intriguing crescendo. Nice!

I listened to the English audiobook. This is my third or fourth novel by Murakami, and I confirm that he’s not my favorite author at all. Still… there’s something that just stops me from abandoning his books halfway. There is very little action, but the atmosphere is very well created. This is the third comic book I have read by Dr. Pira, and I admit I am mesmerized for the third time: amazing cameos, a very good plot, and memorable drawings. Pira’s style may seem childish, but he is very good. I don’t know if it is a relaxing read, but surely is recommended!
