Side note: yes, I know that very capable and feature-rich tools like 
 snapper and 
 timeshift exist that can achieve similar outcomes. However, this is a small, homebrew alternative solution that i’ve chosen to go with out of user preference, and so your mileage and needs may vary :3 ~
