For a number of reasons (notably… well, fuck streaming services and how they treat artists & their customers alike), I have begun to collect & self host my music library, in an attempt to Ditch Spotify Completely and switch to spending the equivalent amount of money that I’d line their pockets with a year for actually supporting artists through buying merch, concert tickets, as well as directly buying albums for smaller artists on places like Bandcamp.
