这个周末从太浩湖回来，路上经过 Folsom，我们顺便去看了那里的老水电站。本来只想随便逛一圈，没想到从水轮机、调速器到变压器都保留得很完整，我也趁机了解了一下水力发电和早期交流输电是怎么回事。 这座电站 1895 年开始运行，四台发电机一共 3 MW，升压到 11,000 伏后，把电送到 22 英里外的萨克拉门托。
