BNY oversees $62.6T and wants clients staking inside custody, at a moment when Ethereum’s staking APR is the lowest in three years.

NY oversees $62.6T in assets under custody and administration, a figure the bank confirmed for the end of June. Earlier this month it said staking is coming to its Digital Asset Custody platform, built with Galaxy and subject to regulatory review. Days later, Ethereum’s seven-day staking APR was reported at 2.66%, the lowest reading in three years.
